Next Meeting: Ruins and Follies, Sunday 8th, 3pm, at a real life "folly"!

Dear Fragmented minions

For our latest meeting we've been offered an honest-to-god in-the-garden folly at the home of one of our members - email or message me for the details! There will be cake, and erudition. What more could you ask from your Sunday? Be there at 3pm in East London, having read some of the attached.

Here is a big piece of theory in 2 parts which has lots of pictures of wacky follies, and there's a link below tp a shorter piece from a contrasting position. For literature I'm afraid I've plumped for some more Austen, and James will shortly unleash some Radcliffe on us too! Please do upload, or email me, your own favourite follies or ruins in fiction, or even pet architectural features. That would be suitably

We will then be having a break until next autumn, so

Be there or be crumbled,

Beatrice
