Hi All,
Heads up about this year's T.S Eliot Summer School. Bursaries are still available, but deadline is nearing. Highlights include lectures and readings by Paul Muldoon and Sean O'Brien.
Here's the blurb:
The Institute of English Studies, University of London is hosting the fourth annual T.S. Eliot International Summer School (7-15 July). Anyone with an interest in writings of the best-known of all modernist poets is welcome to participate in this week-long celebration of Eliot's life and work led by some of the most eminent scholars, poets and teachers.
This year's school will be opened by the Irish poet Paul Muldoon and will feature a reading at The London Library by Sean O'Brien, winner of the 2007 T.S. Eliot Prize.
In addition to the academic programme and visits to Little Gidding, Burnt Norton and East Coker, there will also be a series of social activities, including poetry readings, discussion groups, and late afternoon walking tours of T.S. Eliot’s London and literary Bloomsbury, as well as a presentation from Johns Hopkins University Press introducing the new online edition of Eliot’s Collected Prose.
