I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it on a regular basis, but I thought that I would suggest a few titles for consideration down the line.
I would be particularly keen to discuss more or less anything by Barry Malzberg, who I've just been getting into since the Summer. He's fairly obscure/hard to get hold of but interesting I feel and I would love to hear what other people had to say about him. The one book which is easy to get hold of first hand is Galaxies, although actually second hand isn't too hard for his other notable titles (Falling Astronauts, Beyond Apollo, Herovit's World, The Destruction of the Temple).
As well as that I would suggest something by Stanislaw Lem which isn't Solaris. He's got a book called Imaginary Magnitudes which is composed of introductions to fictional textbooks from the future which is both baffling and fascinating, although I'd be fairly open to other suggestions. It just seems like Solaris is the only book of his which gets much of a mention.
