William Blake Reading Group

Information

Every thing possible to be believ'd is an image of truth

Our aim is twofold: first of all to open up discussion of Blake as a poet, artist, and theoretician whose work is deeply involved with present concerns; and secondly, to embark on group explorations of his longer, challenging works (Milton, Jerusalem, The Four Zoas).

After a stimulating and enjoyable first session on the 28th May, the second meeting will be on Wednesday 23rd June, in Room B02 43 Gordon Square, and will be on Book One of Milton A Poem. If you are interested in attending, have any questions, or would like to suggest specific plates for visual scrutiny via the room projector, please get in touch by emailing [email protected].
