Event Description
A day exploring the relationship between artistic practice and archive theory. How can pratice-orientated engagement in archives manifest as research, and how can archives be curated as a mode of practice?
There will be short presentations by people working in arts instituions, archivists, practitioners, curators and researchers.
Places are free but booking is essential - please request a place by emailing Holly Pester, [email protected]. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The event is part of an AHRC-funded Cultural Engagement Award between Bury Art Gallery Museum and Archives and Birkbeck's Contemporary Poetics Research Centre.
