At the moment I am trying to finish a PhD in the said field, focusing specifically on the Prussian Ambassador in London, Baron Bunsen, and the role he played, often hidden but influential nonetheless, in the machinations of the C19th Church of England and the growth and spread of ideas associated with the Broad Church Movement and Biblical Interpretation and the opposition from the contemporaneous, and equally nascent, Oxford Movement (i.e. Anglo-Catholics/Tractarians).
