- Website: http://gracehalden.wix.com/gracehalden I successfully defended my thesis 10th July 2014. I am a cultural historian. I have interest and expertise in the subjects of technology and the philosophy of technology on which my PhD thesis is based. I have completed substantial research on the technology of war and genocide mainly through World War II, the Cold War, the Vietnam War and Gulf War. Philosophy I am familiar with includes thinkers such as Plato, Descartes, Jean Baudrillard, Jacques Derrida, Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt, Marshall McLuhan and Jean-François Lyotard. I also have an interest in psychology mainly that of psychological doubling and theories of violence. In regards to fiction I have extensive experience and deep interest in the literature, television and film primarily of science fiction but also including horror, fairy tales and fiction concerning the double (including vampire and zombie fiction).
